  1. To enhance the capacity and organizational development efforts of Member Organizations
  2. To strengthen the capacity of MOs to support farmers’ organizational capacity and technical development for sustainable land use
  3. To enhance the capacity of MOs to undertake evidence-based advocacy

Communication and Networking

To enhance information generation, sharing and dissemination among MOs and across other networks

Research and Advocacy

  1. To contribute to creating a conducive environment that favors small-scale farmers and MO interests e.g. Land issues, Genetically
    Modified Organisms (GMOs), climate change, fair trade etc.
  2. To increase budget allocation to the agriculture sector
  3. To increase the knowledge and analysis of policies by PELUM members

PELUM Uganda organizational and Institutional development

  • The strengthen the institutional capacity of PELUM Uganda to effectively and efficiently manage and implement her programmes
  • To support ESAFF Uganda towards becoming an autonomous network/organization managing its own affairs.
